Many patrons have shared delightful experiences at Tacolicious. Josh W. summarizes it beautifully, highlighting the bright, welcoming atmosphere and impeccable service—factors that play a crucial role in making each visit memorable. The phrase "taco bar" brings forth visions of festive gatherings, and as Sally F. demonstrates in her review, Tacolicious excels at catering events, ensuring that every detail is meticulously handled, leaving a lasting impression on guests.
While Tacolicious prides itself on its quality and atmosphere, some guests have noted room for improvement regarding service speed. However, as many have pointed out, the deliciousness of the tacos justifies the price, enhancing the overall dining experience.

It’s more than just a taco joint; it’s a vibrant space where great food meets warm hospitality, making it a flavorful stop in the bustling Mission District.

In the Mission, where tacos reign supreme, Tacolicious is a culinary dream. Christian, our server, with a smile so bright, turned our evening into pure delight. The queso was rich and perfectly fine, each bite a flavor divine. The Vampiro tacos had the perfect zing, while the Baja fish tacos made our taste buds sing. With each margarita, the jig was up, Tacolicious truly filled our cup.

We just used Tacolicious to cater our schools fundraiser event (300 people) last weekend and they did a phenomenal job. Jerome and Sam the catering managers were really on top of every detail, extremely responsive, and easy to work with.... Our event was a big success thanks to them. We did a taco bar and they also helped with bartending. I would recommend them to anyone else looking for some festive, and professional catering for their event.

Great atmosphere, music, staff. Mucho gusto, the coconut pineapple margarita is refreshing. The bartender was great! There was a mix up with my order, so they just gave me an extra taco and a friendly manager came to check on me. All 3 tacos were excellent. Vampiros, baja, grilled shrimp. My new favorite taco spot.

They were really good if you want to spend $5.50 for one taco. This is those types of meals where the deliciousness makes sense for the price. The service was kind of slow and a bit rude. They weren't really helpful when asked questions. Been here several times and I agree with another review that they could turn in some more lights because it can get pretty dark in there. I would recommend this place if you're craving tacos and want to splurge!

It was dark as hell! turning up the lights a smidgen after the sun goes down wouldn't hurt. Got the Beef guajillo, fish taco, and carnitas. fish taco comes on flour instead of corn? solid but average. can pass on this. beef was yummy would recommend but the carnitas was the true star of the show. I also had the pink sangria for happy hour which was yummy. not pictured but got the guac not table side. it was good no onions or tomatoes but i'm weird and I like that. not legit taqueria or taco truck tacos but they were yummy. The salads are so san francisco and are there for the demographic they cater to lol. Happy hour worth for drinks but idk for food. we did the 10 taco plate and that prob has better value so if u come here come with a group.

Amazing location with a nice outdoor patio, and it's always busy during weekends. We had lunch earlier, so we sat at the bar and ordered a pitcher of the Pasion--an habanero-infused tequila cocktail with passion fruit juice. It was incredibly refreshing. The tacos were delicious as well--we had the beef tacos with cabbage and the Guajillo-Braised Beef tacos. Their salsas are to die for. Overall, a great spot for high-class tacos, but prices have increased significantly. A $59 pitcher is almost double the price from a few years ago, so I'm giving it one star less.

What a pretty place! It's easy to miss this restaurant because there's no sign that says "Tacolicious", just a small orange taco logo outside. The restaurant also appears small, based on its width, but once you step inside, you'll see that it's quite long and spacious with tons of seating indoors and some more outdoors along the side of the restaurant in their private walkway. There also appears to be a back room indoors that I bet would be great for hosting a private event. It's clean and well decorated. I've been to their Chestnut Street location in Marina also, which is smaller. Both locations serve up excellent, creative salads that I enjoy for both lunch and dinner. The warm Chingona bowl was my go-to, but it seems they've discontinued it, so I ordered their Anna salad (grilled shrimp salad) to go today. So fresh, delicious, and flavorful! Unfortunately, they forgot to provide both the salad dressing AND utensils with my takeout Anna salad today, so I had to scrounge up some of my own at home.... The only reason I'm not docking them a star is because I've had good salad from Tacolicious (with salad dressing) before. - CHINGONA BOWL: Excellent. Variety of flavors, textures, and unique ingredients. - HAVALINA SALAD with grilled chicken : Good, but they need to change the salad dressing, which was thick and overpowering BBQ sauce. - ANA SALAD with grilled shrimp: Might have been good if they had remembered the salad dressing. - MARINA GIRL SALAD with grilled chicken: Very boring.
